– 2 cups of heavy cream
– 1/4 cup of sugar in powder form
– Lemon slices, for decoration

How do you make Italian lemon cream cake?
1. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your cake pans with butter. Then, lightly dust them with flour.
2. In a big bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar together until they are light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one. Add the lemon zest and vanilla extract and mix well.
4. In a different bowl, mix the cake flour and salt together with a whisk. Add this dry mix and milk to the butter mix in turns, starting and ending with the flour. Mix until everything is just combined.
5. Pour the batter evenly into the pans you set up for the cake. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
6. After 10 minutes, move the cake layers to a wire rack to cool completely.
